June 1st 12-3 pm Paintmaking Workshop at The Art Alliance of Central PA
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own watercolors from start to finish? Or how watercolors become the beautiful vibrant and transparent paints they are? This is the workshop for you! You will gain hands-on experience making your watercolor paint binder from scratch, learning about pigments and how to blend them, and mastering the art of mulling paint. All materials are provided. At the end of this workshop you will have the knowledge and experience you need to make your own paints and take home the paints you made in class!
No prior experience in painting or paint making necessary!
All supplies included with class fees.
June 15th 12-3 pm Paintmaking at The Arboretum at Penn State
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own watercolors from start to finish? This is the workshop for you! You will gain hands-on experience making your own watercolor paint from pigment to paper. All materials are provided, and no prior experience with painting or paint-making is required. At the end of this workshop you will be able to take home your own hand-made watercolors. Registration is required.
